Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to analyze and improve our systems and processes. You will translate business requirements into design solutions, collaborate with product teams, and maintain documentation across multiple domains.

The role requires 4 years in IT as a Business Analyst, strong communication, and experience with Agile practices. You will contribute to interface design, testing, and UAT, in a collaborative OD environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
• 4 years of working experience in an Information Technology environment as a Business Analyst.
• Proficiency with system design and end user support.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements for process or system solutions spanning multiple domains and document for the development team.
• Translate partner stories into backlog items for product developers and ensure understanding.
• Maintain business process documentation and traceability.
• Collaborate with analysts and scrum teams for consistency in processes and documentation.
• Provide functional design specs for new development and major enhancements.
• Work with designers to create interfaces that meet business requirements and design standards.
• Develop and maintain functional test cases and automated tests for load and regression testing.
• Define acceptance criteria and support user acceptance testing.
