The role covers translating requirements into designs, developing functional specifications, and collaborating with stakeholders and scrum teams to deliver solutions and ensure QA, UAT, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience: 6 years of working experience as a Business Analyst.
• Expertise with system/application design and end-user support.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to develop and document requirements and specifications.
• Ability to communicate in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work as a team player.
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
• Ability to lead and mentor others in professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of existing systems and processes and identify improvement strategies.
• Translate requirements into solution designs using BA techniques.
• Develop requirements for cross-domain solutions by partnering with stakeholders.
• Shape the development of the business unit and lead strategic initiatives.
• Break down partner stories into backlog items for developers.
• Maintain business process documentation and traceability.
• Ensure documentation is complete and stored properly.
• Collaborate with analysts and lead scrum teams for consistency.
• Develop functional design specifications for new development and major enhancements.
• Work with designers to create interfaces meeting requirements and standards.
• Create and maintain test cases and automated tests for load and regression testing.
• Provide acceptance criteria and facilitate user acceptance testing.
• Review and coordinate remediation of defects from testing.
• Document defects from testing.
• Verify production changes with affected units.
• Understand supported business areas and analyze problems.
• Maintain IT relationships with architects, infra, and DBAs.
• Create training documentation with the Training team.
• Participate in Agile daily/weekly scrums.
• Participate in interview process and hiring recommendations.
• Lead other BAs and provide guidance.
