Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to analyze existing systems and processes, translate requirements into designs, and help delivery teams build value across multiple domains.

You will partner with stakeholders, document functional specs, support QA, and participate in the Agile lifecycle, ensuring traceability and clear acceptance criteria while advancing OD's technology roadmap.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience: 4 years in IT as a Business Analyst.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to document requirements clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements and break down into backlog items for developers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and scrum teams to ensure consistency in processes and documentation.
• Provide functional design specifications for new development and major enhancements.
• Develop and maintain test cases, acceptance criteria, and assist with UAT.
• Ensure traceability and compliance with IT processes including SDLC and code reviews.
• Participate in customer demos and coordinate defect remediation.
