Job summary

TDIndustries is seeking a HVAC Technician II to independently operate, monitor, and maintain critical building systems, including HVAC setup and balancing, water treatment, and process equipment.

You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical components, interpret blueprints and logs, and collaborate with a team while following SOPs and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Technical degree in related field preferred.
  • Current universal refrigeration license and/or other trade licenses as required.
  • 3+ years of HVAC-related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to Facility Service Work Orders from building occupants. Diagnoses building management/energy management systems for faults.
  • Collaborates with fellow technicians to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems. Interprets blueprints and schematic drawings for troubleshooting.
  • Completes all required paperwork timely and accurately. Takes readings from nominal equipment and logs data.
  • Uses standard tools and equipment, keeps work areas clean and orderly.
  • Observes and complies with all safety policies and uses required PPE.
  • Works on and completes all facility team-based goals.

Job Summary

The HVAC Technician II is responsible for independently operating, monitoring, and maintaining key building systems, including HVAC setup and balancing, water treatment, purified water systems, and process equipment. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical components in accordance with SOPs, safety protocols, and manufacturer guidelines.

Essential Duties
  • Responds to Facility Service Work Orders from building occupants. Requests may include plumbing, HVAC service calls. Diagnoses building management/energy management systems for faults and errors.
  • Collaborates with fellow technicians to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems. Proficiently interprets blueprints and schematic drawings to ensure accurate troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Completes all required paperwork timely and accurately. Takes readings from nominal equipment and makes timely entry into appropriate logs.
  • Uses tools and equipment that are standard issue and do not need further calibration or adjustment, and keeps tools and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Observes and complies with all company safety policies. Uses required personal protective equipment while satisfying all work requests.
  • Works on and completes all facility team-based goals.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Technical degree in related field is preferred
  • Possession of a current universal refrigeration license and/or other trade licenses as required
  • 3+ years of HVAC-related experience
