Job summary

Lincoln Property Company, in Miami, is seeking a Building Engineer II to operate, monitor, and maintain complex building systems with emphasis on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. The role is 100% in‑office, with on‑site collaboration with tenants, contractors, and property managers.

You will work closely with senior engineers, support junior technicians, and expand proficiency in BAS and life-safety systems, while adhering to OSHA/ NFPA standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• Engineering and trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.
• Advanced proficiency with HVAC and building automation systems (BAS); familiarity with fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and laptop/phone applications for work order systems, email, and training platforms.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems independently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on critical building systems.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records on building equipment.
• Manage service contractors during routine and emergency repairs.
• Conduct thorough inspections and proactively report deficiencies; ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and tracked.
