Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5–8 years of related experience; shift supervision experience preferred
• Certifications in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or related systems are desirable
• Experience with building systems, safety codes, and preventive maintenance practices

Responsibilities

• Assign work orders and estimate time and materials for repairs.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools for maintenance work.
• Perform maintenance on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control systems to meet standards.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety policies.
• Develop energy management programs to optimize efficiency.
• Oversee external contractors and inspect their work for quality and safety.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
• Review inspections of building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for compliance.
