Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and controls. You will support preventive maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and optimize energy use while upholding CBRE standards.

The role requires 4–5 years in related work, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. A physical role with opportunities for growth within a global CRE leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; 4–5 years of related experience.
• Certifications/licensing as required by local/state jurisdictions; CFC preferred.
• Strong math, organizational, and problem-solving abilities; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems: mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Manage energy usage and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Lead by example and coach others within the team.
• Review and monitor building equipment performance and environmental conditions.
• Provide innovative solutions and support for operations and client needs.
