Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled facilities technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems across interior and exterior building areas.

You will monitor operations, respond to issues, and uphold safety and code compliance while delivering reliable service to tenants and clients. The role includes coordinating with outside contractors, managing work orders, and supporting energy management programs to reduce operating costs.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years' experience in electrical systems, refrigeration and/or HVAC.
• Universal CFC certification required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform strenuous tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operates, maintains, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building equipment (mechanical/HVAC/plumbing, electrical, fire safety, lighting, and BMS).
• Maintains professional appearance of property and engineering spaces.
• Prepares estimates for time and materials; orders supplies to complete tasks.
• Oversees and inspects work by outside contractors (landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning).
• Responds to emergencies and uses work order system and ESS for communication.
