Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred; licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more and meet physical requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills for calculations such as percentages and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain energy management to optimize system efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow safety and disposal policies for hazardous materials.
• Review inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing for design compliance.
• Explain complex information clearly to others.
