Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Sr Building Engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems across interior and exterior building spaces. You will monitor operations, lead energy efficiency efforts, and supervise contractor work to ensure safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates have extensive electrical/HVAC experience, Universal CFC certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 8+ years in electrical, refrigeration and/or HVAC.
• Universal CFC certification; additional certs in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing are a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with budgets, figures and basic financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair building systems including HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
• Monitor and optimize energy use; oversee outside contractors for various tasks.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety regulations and SOPs.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain building management and digital systems.
