Job summary

Knight Frank Property Management Sdn Bhd is seeking a Building Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of commercial or residential properties in Klang Valley. You will coordinate maintenance, security, and tenant relations while ensuring efficient budget use and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in facilities management, with strong knowledge of property management principles and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a building or facilities management role, preferably in the commercial and/or residential property sector.
• Strong knowledge of property management principles, including maintenance, security, and tenant relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Proficient in budget management and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the maintenance, cleaning, and security services for the properties
• Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures to maintain high standards of property management
• Liaise with tenants, owners, and external contractors to address any issues or concerns
• Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
• Identify and implement opportunities for improvement to enhance the overall tenant experience
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Provide regular reports and updates to the management team
