Job summary

BioBridge Global is seeking a Building Technician IV to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings and complex mechanical systems. The role covers HVAC operation, RTUs, chillers, cooling towers, VAV systems, pumps, and controls, with a focus on occupant comfort and regulatory compliance.

Under supervision, you will monitor systems, perform maintenance, and lead apprentices. A strong HVAC background and knowledge of CMMS, safety practices, and energy efficiency are

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and specialized or technical training.
• Requires completion of HVAC Technical School.
• HVAC Certifications such as Class A/B/C preferred.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and relevant HVAC/electrical/plumbing certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitors building system operations and performs preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoots HVAC issues, repairs, and upgrades for optimal performance.
• Inspects HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems for safety and compliance.
• Trains apprentices and newer technicians, oversees their work.
• Recommends life-cycle improvements and energy-saving measures.
