Job summary

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Senior Building Mechanical Engineering professional to lead HVAC, plumbing, and fire sprinkler calculations for commercial and wastewater facilities. You will interpret mechanical, plumbing, building, and NFPA standards and size distribution systems, with drafting/modeling in AutoCAD and Revit.

preferred candidates have 5+ years of building mechanical experience and a PE license or progress toward it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required.
• Professional license (PE) is preferred or in progress.
• Typically 5+ years building mechanical engineering experience and SMS framework progression.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive HVAC, plumbing, and fire sprinkler calculations.
• Interpret codes and NFPA standards for projects.
• Size ductwork and piping for optimal performance.
• Draft and model systems using AutoCAD/Revit.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for project execution.
