Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Senior Engineer to monitor complex building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life-safety, in the Memphis healthcare facility.

The role involves overseeing maintenance, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and codes. The successful candidate will bring supervisory experience, universal CFC certification, and strong problem-solving skills to optimize energy use and system reliability in a multi-discipline

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience in facilities maintenance.
• Universal CFC certification and additional HVAC/electrical/mechanical certifications are preferred.
• Experience supervising shifts or teams is a plus.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Assign work orders and estimate time and materials for repairs.
• Maintain inventories of supplies and tools for operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems.
• Ensure building systems meet applicable codes and standards.
• Develop and oversee energy management initiatives for efficiency.
• Oversee work by outside contractors and communicate with clients and supervisors.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
