You will oversee daily activities, review work orders, ensure safety compliance, and respond to after-hours emergencies in a 365/24/7 facility.

Requires a high school diploma and 3 years of relevant experience; strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience as a building operating engineer.
• Ability to work independently and plan work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and analyze equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments.
• Provide input on equipment system maintenance planning.
• Execute maintenance and repair work on boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, and building infrastructure.
• Oversee daily operations and maintenance activities, providing guidance and mentoring to personnel.
• Perform complex operating procedures for high pressure steam boilers, lab utilities, and emergency generators.
