ECS Group of Companies in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks a Building Enclosure Senior Project Associate to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team. Lead and execute complex building science projects, coordinate teams, and drive client interactions from concept to completion.

The role emphasizes testing, diagnostic evaluations, design reviews, and reporting, with opportunities to mentor staff and grow within a nationwide practice. A strong background in building envelopes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Structural/Architectural Eng or Architecture; NCARB.
• 5+ years in building enclosure consulting including field work, testing, or forensic assessments.
• Licensure or certification such as PE, RA or IIBEC credentials preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform building science and infrastructure testing, inspections, and consulting.
• Conduct site observations of roofing and enclosure systems and draft CAD work as needed.
• Develop testing plans, interpret results, and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage projects from setup to completion with budgets and schedules.
• Mentor staff, lead multidisciplinary teams, and coordinate with clients.
• Prepare reports meeting professional standards and review junior staff work.
