ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Associate to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Baton Rouge, LA. The role supports building enclosure projects through field investigations, testing, analysis, and report preparation, collaborating with experienced consultants to deliver practical solutions for diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil, structural, architectural engineering, or architecture (NCARB).
• 2+ years in building enclosure consulting, field investigations, testing, or related work.
• Licensure or certification in PE, RA, or IIBEC certifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support building science & infrastructure testing, inspections, and consulting.
• Perform site observations of roofing and enclosure systems.
• Assist with drafting or CAD work as needed.
• Develop testing protocols and test plans; interpret results and recommend actions.
• Assist with forensic assessments, commissioning activities, and enclosure investigations.
• Support design reviews and peer review of specifications and submittals.
• Maintain familiarity with IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, and CSI.
