Job summary

ECS in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a Building Enclosure Senior Project Associate to lead building envelope consulting across a variety of facilities. You will manage projects, mentor junior staff, and serve as a technical lead on investigations, testing, and design reviews, coordinating with clients, architects, and engineers.

The role requires a Civil/Architectural engineering degree and 5+ years of experience in building enclosure consulting, with licensure or NCARB preferred; knowledge of

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture (NCARB).
5+ years of related experience with building enclosure consulting, including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx), design review, or forensic assessments.

Responsibilities

Manage building science & infrastructure projects from setup through completion.
Coordinate project teams and direct site activities with field staff, subcontractors, and senior managers.
Monitor project progress and communicate schedule updates, testing activities, and potential budget impacts.
Mentor junior staff and supervise field personnel performing inspections and testing.

Education

Civil/Architectural Engineering degree (NCARB)
