ECS Group of Companies in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Building Enclosure Project Associate to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team. You will support enclosure consulting projects through field investigations, testing, and report preparation, collaborating with experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate envelope performance and deliver practical client solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or Architecture (NCARB).
• 2+ years of building enclosure consulting experience including field investigations and testing.
• Licensure or certifications (PE, RA, IIBEC) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations and testing of building enclosure systems.
• Perform site observations of roofing and enclosure components.
• Interpret drawings and site plans; assist with CAD drafting.
• Develop testing protocols and analyze results to identify deficiencies.
• Assist with design reviews, repair design, and submittal peer reviews.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, and CSI codes.
