Job summary

ECS is seeking a Building Enclosure Senior Project Associate to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Long Beach, MS. You will manage building enclosure consulting projects, serve as a lead technical consultant on investigations, testing, commissioning, and design reviews, and collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and owners.

This client-facing role emphasizes project management, technical execution, and mentorship within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering (NCARB).
• 5+ years in building enclosure consulting including investigations, testing, BECx, design review or forensic assessments.
• Licenses/certifications preferred: P.E., RA, IIBEC certs, BECxP/CxA BE.

Responsibilities

• Manage building science & infrastructure projects from setup through completion.
• Coordinate project teams and direct site activities with field staff, subcontractors, and senior managers.
• Prepare and review proposals, change orders, budgets, and invoices.
• Interface with clients regularly and lead project meetings.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise field personnel performing inspections and testing.
• Prepare building science reports and ensure professional standards.
