Job summary

ECS seeks a Building Enclosure Senior Project Architect to join our Florida Building Science + Infrastructure team in Sarasota, FL. You will manage building enclosure projects and act as lead technical consultant on investigations, testing, and design consulting.

You will collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate envelope performance, support construction quality, and deliver practical consulting solutions across facility types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering, or Architecture (NCARB).
• 5+ years of related experience with building enclosure consulting.
• Registered Architect (R.A.) licensure is required.
• IIBEC certifications (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP) preferred.
• BECxP and CxA+BE certifications from UW-Madison preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage building enclosure consulting projects from setup to completion.
• Lead technical investigations, testing, and design consulting.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers and owners.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise field personnel performing inspections and testing.
• Prepare and review reports and proposals.
• Ensure compliance with IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, SMACNA and CSI.
