Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Sr. Controls Sales Executive to hunt and grow Automated Logic’s new construction customer base and exceed sales targets. The role is field-based; candidates should reside in or near Indianapolis, IN for local client sites.

You will build relationships, coach others, and strive to expand clientele while maintaining exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC, BAS, or HVAC Controls industry.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow assigned territory and achieve or exceed annual sales and gross margin targets.
• Develop long-term relationships and build partnerships with assigned accounts.
• Position Automated Logic as the preferred BAS design partner.
• Perform take-offs and bid projects; drive design specifications with engineers.
• Write project proposals with engineers to match building specs and provide value.
• Negotiate pricing, scope, and terms with contractors.
• Deliver compelling presentations to owners and owner representatives.
• Utilize sales tools to plan and document progress and increase opportunities.
• Generate high activity to feed the sales pipeline and close deals.
• Collaborate with external customers and internal staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
• New business development; act as customers’ advocate.
