Job summary

AEI Consultants is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Building Assessment to lead property condition assessments across diverse commercial properties. You will oversee projects, ensure top-quality reporting, and coordinate with clients, engineers, and architects.

Qualifications

• Background in architecture, engineering, building forensics, or construction management.
• Property condition assessment work requires technical writing proficiency.
• Experience with various property types and construction practices.
• Familiarity with entitlement/permitting processes and cost estimation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; Ability to travel if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic assessments of major building systems and distressed conditions.
• Take photos of site and building system conditions.
• Conduct interviews and research on property maintenance history.
• Review or assist with PCA technical reviews.
• Mentor junior project managers and support team leadership.
• Prepare clear condition and status reports using in-house templates.
