Job summary

AEI Consultants is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage Capital Planning and Equity Assessment projects within our Building Assessment division. The role involves directing property condition assessments, evaluating long-term capital needs, and communicating findings with clear, data-driven reporting to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or construction management required.
• Advanced writing and communication skills strongly preferred.
• Experience with property condition assessments and building systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Forensic assessment of major building systems and distressed conditions.
• Take photos of site and building system conditions.
• Inventory in the field using capturing software.
• Conduct basic interviews and research on property maintenance history.
• Estimate maintenance costs using cost libraries; prepare clear reports.
• Conduct public records research on building, zoning, and fire code violations.
• Monitor construction, review requisitions, and advise on fund releases.
• Manage multiple projects and collaborate with senior staff to ensure client satisfaction.
