AEI Consultants seeks a Senior Project Manager – Building Assessment to lead forensic assessments of major building systems across diverse property types in a flexible/remote Portland area. The role requires strong technical writing, site assessment, and cost estimation experience.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients, and ensure timely, high-quality property condition reports while supporting multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction required.
• 8–12+ years of experience performing forensic assessments of major building systems.
• Experience with PCA and property types.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic assessments of major building systems and distressed conditions.
• Take site photos and document conditions.
• Contribute to PCA reports and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior project managers and assist team leads.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders during site visits.
