Job summary

AEI Consultants seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead Building Assessment and Capital Planning projects across diverse property types. You will oversee PCAs, monitor construction, and support energy/ADA initiatives, delivering data-driven strategies for long-term capital needs.

The role emphasizes technical writing, field documentation, and cost estimating to produce reliable budgets for clients and stakeholders. Travel may be required to support an expanding portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or construction management required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) preferred.
• 5+ years of Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Capital Planning and Equity Assessment projects.
• Perform Property Condition Assessments on existing commercial properties.
• Develop actionable capital expenditure forecasts and reserve plans.
• Communicate findings clearly in technical reports.
• Coordinate with senior staff and clients to deliver solutions.
• Travel regionally, nationally, and internationally as needed.
