Job summary

AEI Consultants is seeking a HUD Building Assessment Project Manager I to perform capital needs assessments, monitor renovations, and assist with energy and ADA audits across commercial properties. The role demands strong writing, coordination of multiple projects, and the ability to travel as needed to support site inspections and client deliverables.

Qualifications

• Experience with HUD AEC, FHA and ADA compliance.
• Proficient in PCA/PCNA and reporting.
• Knowledge of building codes and various property types.

Responsibilities

• Complete entry level training and meet project billing goals under supervision.
• Perform site inspections, take photos, and document conditions.
• Write clear condition and status reports using templates.
• Monitor construction progress and review payment requisitions.
• Coordinate with senior staff to deliver client-ready reports on time.
