Qualifications

• 2.5+ years underwriting experience (progressive)
• CPCU or professional designation preferred
• Proven ability to manage complex Builders Risk exposures and pricing

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of construction-related clients incl. brokers, contractors, developers, owners, to build profitable Builders Risk business.
• Evaluates project plans, budgets, schedules, valuations, contracts, loss history, site conditions, catastrophe exposures and risk controls.
• Determines coverage terms, limits, deductibles, exclusions, and pricing for various construction projects.
• Maintains relationships with agents/brokers and represents Liberty Mutual effectively in the marketplace.
• Monitors project exposures including delays, changes in scope/values, occupancy transitions, and loss drivers.
• Collaborates with UW Support, Claims, Actuarial, Risk Engineering, Product, Legal, and Underwriting Directors on process and product improvements.
• Mentors junior underwriters and communicates emerging Trends and opportunities for growth
