Job summary

NEO Home Loans, powered by Better, is building a strong broker processing team and seeks an experienced Senior Broker Loan Processor to own an active broker loan pipeline from submission through closing. The role requires deep wholesale lending knowledge, meticulous follow-up, and the ability to move quickly while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years of mortgage loan processing experience, with broker background preferred.
• Familiarity with several wholesale lender websites and submission workflows.
• Working knowledge of DSCR, bank statement and Non-QM loan requirements.
• Experience with mortgage pricing and lender programs.
• Ability to organize a fast-paced pipeline with multiple deadlines.
• Excellent follow-up, judgment, and ownership through resolution.
• Capable of working independently while collaborating with loan officers and lenders.
• Interested in contributing to a growing department and leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Own and monitor an active broker-loan pipeline from submission to closing.
• Review files for completeness and issues, and submit loans through lender portals.
• Use pricing tools and program knowledge to advise on options and lender fit.
• Track underwriting decisions, conditions, appraisals, disclosures, rate-locks and funding.
• Coordinate document collection and resolution with borrowers, lenders, and partners.
• Provide clear status updates and proactively raise risks with next steps.
• Maintain loan records and organize documents per requirements.
• Apply agency and government guidelines to route questions to decision-makers.
• Contribute to process improvements as the department grows, with potential leadership later.
