Better Mortgage seeks an experienced Senior Broker Loan Processor to own an active broker-loan pipeline and move files from submission to closing in a fast-paced, corporate environment. You will coordinate with loan officers, wholesale lenders, and internal teams, ensuring timely conditions and accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in mortgage loan processing, deep knowledge of DSCR, bank statement, and Non-QM programs, and a proactive mindset to develop into a leadership role

Qualifications

• 10+ years mortgage loan processing experience, preferably broker background.
• Hands-on familiarity with wholesale lender websites and submission workflows.
• Strong knowledge of DSCR, bank statement, and Non-QM programs; pricing understanding.

Responsibilities

• Own and monitor an active broker-loan pipeline with milestones and deadlines.
• Review files for completeness and issues; submit loans through lender portals.
• Use pricing tools and product matrices to advise loan officers on options.
• Track underwriting decisions, appraisals, title progress, disclosures, and funding timelines.
• Coordinate document collection and resolve conditions with borrowers, lenders, and internal partners.
• Provide clear status updates and escalate risks with proposed next steps.
• Maintain accurate loan records in company systems per lender requirements.
• Apply agency/government guidelines to route questions to decision-makers.
• Contribute ideas and potentially take on leadership responsibilities as the department grows.
