Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate to lead broker-dealer operations within Coinbase Capital Markets, driving end-to-end operational resilience for U.S. equities workflows.

You will own reconciliations, transfers, and regulatory reporting while building durable controls and tooling. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in financial services operations, experience with clearing broker systems, and a track record of creating SOPs and runbooks.

Formación

• 5+ years in financial services operations, broker-dealer operations, clearing and settlement, or a related operational control function.
• Direct experience in the U.S. equities trade lifecycle (order processing, settlement, positions, cash movements, corporate actions, securities transfers).
• Ability to independently manage complex operational issues across multiple systems with minimal runbooks.
• Experience authoring SOPs, runbooks, controls documents, or audit-support materials in regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with clearing firm systems and proficiency in SQL, Jira, and data-quality/workflow tooling.
• Collaborates with Engineering and Product to translate requirements into tooling and dashboards; uses AI responsibly.

Responsabilidades

• Own recurring broker-dealer operations workflows across multiple areas (reconciliations, corporate actions, transfers, account maintenance, error handling, regulatory reporting).
• Perform daily reconciliations between Coinbase and Apex records; investigate breaks and drive resolution to closure.
• Manage complex exceptions and incidents by coordinating remediation across multiple teams with prioritization by impact.
• Build and maintain audit-ready SOPs, runbooks, control checklists, and process maps.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define operational requirements and improve tooling and automation.
• Identify systemic failure modes and lead process-improvement initiatives for resilience.
