Job summary

Coinbase is hiring a Senior Associate, Broker Dealer Operations to own end-to-end broker-dealer workflows and reconcile activities across the U.S. equities lifecycle. You will work with Apex and internal teams to turn manual work into reliable processes and tooling.

You will build durable controls, partner with Product and Engineering, and drive cross-functional remediation. Strong governance, regulatory awareness, and AI-assisted process improvements are valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services operations or broker-dealer operations.
• Experience with U.S. equities trade lifecycle (order processing, settlement, positions, cash movements).
• Ability to manage complex operational issues across multiple systems without relying on runbooks.
• Experience with clearing broker-dealer systems and tooling like SQL, Jira.
• Experience authoring SOPs, runbooks, controls documentation in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring broker-dealer operations workflows across reconciliations, corporate actions, securities transfers, account maintenance, and regulatory reporting support.
• Perform daily reconciliations and investigate breaks, documenting root causes and driving closure.
• Coordinate remediation across internal and external partners to resolve incidents.
• Create and maintain audit-ready documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and control checklists.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define requirements and improve tooling and automation.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives to reduce manual work and strengthen resilience.
