Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Bridge Technical Director to lead HDR’s Bridges and Structures portfolio within the Transportation Business Group. You will champion technical leadership, oversee major bridge design and production, and mentor junior engineers while driving staff development across North America, Canada and beyond.

You will collaborate across disciplines, shape strategic marketing efforts, ensure QA/QC, and guide staff in cutting-edge bridge software and methods, contributing to HDR’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license (PE) or P.Eng with SE preferred and reciprocity readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of large, multi-disciplinary bridge projects.
• Provide technical oversight and cross-team coordination.
• Deliver design leadership for long-span bridge projects and related infrastructure.
