Job summary

HNTB in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is seeking a Bridge Senior Project Engineer to lead complex transportation projects with TxDOT, DART, NTTA, and major airports. You will apply senior technical expertise, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and mentor teammates.

You will coordinate with clients and partners, help develop proposals, and deliver high-quality designs on time. A Bachelor's with 8+ years, or Master's/PhD with additional experience, is required, with PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering with 7 years of relevant experience.
• PhD in Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply senior-level technical expertise to a broad range of engineering solutions.
• Lead planning, work distribution, and schedule and budget on complex projects.
• Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develop scope of work and manage adherence to scope and budget on complex projects.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of project team's work within the discipline.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
• Coordinate technical aspects with client counterparts and teaming partners.
• Lead discipline delivery on larger, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Coordinate scheduling and distribution of work for other disciplines.
