Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a Bridge Senior Project Engineer in Texas to lead complex transportation projects and deliver high-quality engineering solutions. The role emphasizes technical leadership, schedule and budget adherence, and collaboration with clients and teaming partners.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree with extensive experience and PE certification preferred, and will mentor junior staff while coordinating multi-discipline efforts across the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 7+ years, or PhD with 6+ years.
• Demonstrates excellent technical knowledge and quality work across multiple discipline projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider broad range of engineering solutions.
• Lead planning, work distribution, schedule and budget on complex projects.
• Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develops scope of work and level of effort and manages adherence to scope and budget.
• Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work within the technical discipline.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to team members to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinates technical aspects with client counterpart and teaming partners.
• Leads discipline delivery on larger, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Plans schedules and distribution of work for other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
