Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Bridge Senior Project Engineer to join our North Texas team in Dallas/Fort Worth. You will lead technical solutions, manage scope/budget, and contribute to proposals while mentoring staff across disciplines.

With a Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in engineering and substantial industry experience, you will oversee multi-discipline projects and ensure quality, on-time, within-budget delivery for TxDOT, DART, NTTA, and major airports in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 8+ years of relevant experience, or
• Master's degree in Engineering with 7+ years, or
• PhD in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider broad range of engineering solutions.
• Responsible for planning, work distribution, leadership and adherence to schedule and budget on complex or unusual projects.
• Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develops scope of work and level of effort and manages adherence to scope and budget on complex projects.
• Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team's work within the technical discipline.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to team members to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinates technical aspects with client counterparts and partners for work within the discipline.
• Leads discipline delivery on larger multi-disciplinary projects and coordinates with other disciplines.
• Assists with coordination and planning of schedules, hours, and distribution of work for other disciplines.
