Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Bridge Technical Advisor in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. You will perform independent technical reviews, provide guidance to leadership, mentor production staff, and contribute to proposal development on complex transportation projects.

The role requires a senior engineering background with degrees and years of experience, ability to lead multiple projects, and a track record of delivering technically sound solutions across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with substantial relevant experience.
• Master’s or PhD preferred for advanced engineering leadership.
• Experience leading complex transportation engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Performs independent technical reviews, makes recommendations, and provides guidance on complex projects.
• Provides technical expertise and mentoring to project leadership and staff.
• Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation for complex projects.
• Coordinates technical aspects with client counterparts and partners at local leadership level.
• Develops and advises on technical consistency within discipline across projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
