Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join our Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in New England, with offices in Boston, Worcester, Glastonbury, and Providence. The role focuses on leading inspection projects and delivering structural assessments.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in bridge-related inspection or design, a PE license, and strong leadership and communication skills. Travel to project sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
10+ years of experience in bridge, tunnel or ancillary inspection or design.
PE Licensed is required.
Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and design/build processes.
Ability to travel to project sites and lead junior team members.

Responsibilities

Lead the Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on a variety of projects.
Perform professional structural engineering work and inspections.
Assist in development of plans and sketches using AutoCAD.
Provide guidance and training to entry-level engineers.
Prepare cost proposals and scope of work documents; maintain project documentation.
Remain current in latest structural engineering techniques and practices.
