Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join our Mobility team, based in Georgia or Florida. You will be co-located with a major design-build project, interfacing with design and contractor teams.

You will deliver best-in-class solutions for critical structural resources, coordinating with senior engineers and other disciplines to meet schedule and deliverables. A Civil/Structural background and PE or EI/EIT are valued, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional work experience in transportation infrastructure.
• Experience in the design of concrete and steel bridge structures.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• EI/EIT Certification.
• Experience with AASHTO design codes.
• Proficiency with Bentley/LEAP/Open Bridge Designer, MathCAD, Microsoft Office products, and MicroStation.
• Effective problem solving skills.
• Ability to take initiative and make decisions.
• Ability to work with little direct oversight.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical individuals.

Responsibilities

• Co-location at the project office with frequent visits to the construction site.
• Participate in project progress meetings.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve RFI’s and NCR’s.
• Prepare reports for senior engineer review.
• Track and meet schedule requirements for deliverables.
