Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join our Mobility team in Georgia or Florida. You will deliver design, delivery, and management of critical structural resources for state, municipal and design-build clients, co-located in the project office with the design and contractor teams.

Role requires 5+ years in transportation infrastructure, experience with concrete/steel bridge design, and a BE/CE degree with EI/EIT.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional work experience in transportation infrastructure.
Experience in the design of concrete and steel bridge structures.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
EI/EIT Certification.
Experience with AASHTO design codes.
Proficiency with Bentley/LEAP/Open Bridge Designer, MathCAD, Microsoft Office and MicroStation.
Effective problem solving skills.
Ability to take initiative and make decisions.
Ability to work with little direct oversight.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey information to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Co-location at the project office with frequent visits to the construction site.
Participate in project progress meetings.
Collaborate with other design disciplines.
Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve RFI’s and NCR’s.
Prepare reports for senior engineer review.
Track and meet schedule requirements for deliverables.
