Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a skilled engineer in Michigan to lead design calculations, develop technical reports, and deliver engineering plans for diverse infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with project managers, mentor junior staff, and ensure design quality on schedule.

The role emphasizes coordinating across multiple disciplines, leveraging client interaction, and delivering high-caliber deliverables while supporting business development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher with relevant experience.
• PE certification or ability to obtain PE license preferred.
• Experience with design calculations, reports, and project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and distributing discipline-specific work and managing schedule and budget.
• Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Assists with scope of work and level of effort development for projects within the discipline.
• Oversees completeness and accuracy of the project team’s work and mentors the team.
• Coordinates technical aspects with client counterparts and teaming partners at staff level.
• Works with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
