Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks an experienced Bridge/Transportation Structural Lead to direct design teams on complex projects, mentor up to 5 engineers, and coordinate with clients and partners to meet schedule and budget.

Responsibilities include planning scope, delivering technically sound designs, reviewing calculations, and contributing to multi-discipline projects across Detroit, East Lansing, and Grand Rapids. PE license and 10+ years in bridge design preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher with relevant experience.
• Master’s degree or PhD enhances qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience in engineering design and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider broad range of engineering solutions.
• Leads scope, work distribution, and budget adherence on complex projects.
• Mentors and coordinates with team members to achieve project objectives.
• Oversees multi-discipline project delivery and ensures quality across designs.
