Job summary

HNTB is seeking an experienced engineering leader to produce and modify design calculations, technical reports, and plans for bridges and transportation structures. You will consult with the project manager, apply engineering techniques, and deliver complex designs on schedule with client interaction.

The role may involve mentoring staff, developing conceptual designs, and coordinating with a team on multi-disciplinary projects across Michigan offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience
• Master’s degree in Engineering and 7 years of relevant experience
• PhD in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider broad range of engineering solutions.
• Leads discipline delivery on larger, multi-disciplinary projects and coordinates with other disciplines.
• Mentors and trains design staff to support project objectives.
