Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Branch Operations Manager - Commercial Lines to lead daily operations at the LA area/hybrid office. You will manage a diverse team, drive strategic plans, oversee budgeting, and serve as Account Manager for a defined book of business.

50% time on client relationships and cross-functional collaboration with sales and regional operations. The role requires active P&C licensing, 5+ years in insurance operations, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience with deep, wide-ranging industry knowledge.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• All required active property & casualty licensing.
• Exceptional Account Management skills, spending 50% of time managing a book of business.
• Outstanding communication, people management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities and workflow of the branch team.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans.
• Manage branch P&L, control costs, and achieve financial goals.
• Understand and manage the annual budget.
• Communicate leadership vision/mission for the branch.
• Build and manage a qualified operations team.
• Participate in recruitment and evaluate merger/acquisition opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with HR processes and policies.
• Establish and monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards.
• Encourage growth and development of personnel.
