Job summary

Insurance Office of America is looking for a Branch Operations Manager to lead commercial lines operations at a California-based branch. The role combines strategic leadership, budget oversight, and hands-on account management with up to 50% time spent servicing a key book of business.

You will guide the operations team, implement policy, plan budgets, and partner with regional leadership to drive growth and client satisfaction in a hybrid in-office/remote environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience with deep, wide-ranging knowledge.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Active property & casualty licensing.
• Exceptional account management skills, spending 50% of time on a book of business.
• Outstanding communication, people management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and workflow of the branch team.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans.
• Manage branch P&L, control costs, and achieve financial goals.
• Budget management and resource allocation.
• Communicate leadership vision and branch goals.
• Build and manage a qualified operations team.
