Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field or equivalent work experience (5-10 years of management experience).
• Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
• Intermediate knowledge of Bank operations, products and services; related state and federal laws and regulations, and other Bank operational policies and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills – ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; word processing, spreadsheet and specialty software programs.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise branch operations staff including tellers and new accounts; open/close branch.
• Model superior customer service and conduct staff meetings on it.
• Respond to inquiries or direct to appropriate department.
• Ensure audit compliance and internal controls; conduct branch cash audits.
• Promote sales through product knowledge and cross-selling to meet goals.
• Oversee lending functions including origination, processing, booking, documentation, payoffs, and collections.
• Prepare loan reports and risk/audit reports.
• Participate in internal committees and staff development.
• Ensure security measures and protect deposits/assets.
• Perform other duties as required.
