Diversified Members Credit Union in Detroit, MI seeks a Senior Branch Manager to oversee branch operations, drive member service excellence, and lead a high-performing team. You will implement strategic initiatives, ensure compliance, and manage daily activities in a high-volume environment.

The role focuses on leadership development, performance management, and collaboration with senior management to align branch goals with enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of leadership experience in a financial institution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Jack Henry Symitar system knowledge preferred.
• Experience leading operations for a high-volume, large asset size branch.
• Proven experience overseeing, coaching, and developing teams of 15+ members.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays and assist at other branch locations.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software.
• Ability to write reports, implement policies, and ensure operational compliance.
• Completion of all required compliance and information security training annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior oversight of branch operations to ensure regulatory compliance and standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop branch leadership and staff.
• Drive membership and deposit growth through strategic initiatives.
• Promote a strong service and sales culture with accountable scorecards.
• Maintain strong member relationships and handle escalated matters.
• Monitor performance, cash positioning, staffing, and efficiency.
• Represent the credit union in the community and seek growth opportunities.
• Collaborate on training to strengthen team capability and engagement.
• Coordinate with executives on priorities and improvements.
• Oversee staffing coverage and time-off planning to ensure continuity.
• Enforce security, record retention, and regulatory controls.
