Job summary

Shared Services in Omaha, NE seeks an experienced Operations professional to support Argo/Farm Family underwriting processes. The role focuses on improving efficiency across systems, collaborating with Product Lines and Actuary, and ensuring timely, accurate processing of underwriting transactions.

The candidate will test systems, communicate updates, and train staff as needed, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement requirements. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework/degree and insurance designation are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of insurance experience with authority.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist as a business representative and liaison for various system platforms.
• Production and maintenance testing.
• Identify workflow impacts from system updates and communicate changes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop, write, and implement requirements.
• Liaise with Division Managers on special issues and projects.
• Training, coaching, and mentoring staff, including QA.
• Manage vendor relationships and external partners.
• Conduct underwriting file analysis and support underwriters.
