Job summary

Mt. Bachelor Sports Pro Shop is seeking an Experienced Retail Bootfitter. You will deliver expert boot fittings, assess guest needs, and guide fittings for optimal comfort and performance on the mountain.

Role includes training and leading workshops on boot fitting, coaching others, and maintaining high standards of service quality. Must have advanced bootfitting certification and strong product knowledge.

Qualifications

Proficient boot fitting using foot anatomy, biomechanics and boot tech.
Experience providing personalized guest service and guidance on product selections.
Knowledge of boot models, liners, footbeds, and fit technologies (heat-molding, dual-density liners).
Ability to perform liner molding, shell punching/stretching, cuff alignment, heel lifts and canting.

Responsibilities

Conduct professional boot fittings with focus on fit and on-mountain performance.
Provide exceptional guest service and assist with product recommendations beyond boots.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of boot models, liners, footbeds and fit technologies.
Perform boot modifications and customizations to address fit or biomechanical needs.
Support boot sales and upsell related accessories when appropriate.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Maintain clean, organized fitting area and track repairs and adjustments.
