Backcountry Outlet is seeking a Seasonal Custom Boot Fitter to provide personalized ski and snowboard boot fitting services. You will work hands-on with customers to assess fit issues, perform custom modifications, and ensure boots enhance comfort, control, and performance on snow.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of boot fitting experience, advanced knowledge of boot systems, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Proven boot fitting experience and passion for outdoor gear.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working hands-on with ski/snowboard boots.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed boot fit assessments, including stance analysis and liner evaluation.
• Execute full custom boot work: insoles, liners, and footbeds; shell work.
• diagnose and resolve fit issues with clear communication and recommendations.
• Maintain boot fitting workspace and tools in an organized manner.
• Stay current on boot technologies and fitting techniques.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with service standards.
